Cooking with Herbs – Sauces & Spreads (in-person class)


Stuck in a cooking rut?

Looking to incorporate more herbs and vegetables into your meals? 

This class is for you! 

In this mini-workshop, you will learn how to incorporate herbs and spices into meals not only to make food taste great but also to get the medicinal benefits of herbs. You will also learn substitutions for herbs and produce in recipes. At the end of class, we will sit down to taste-test what we have created. 

The theme for the first Cooking with Herbs class will be ‘sauces & spreads”. 

Tuesday, June 7th, 5:30-7:30 PM

This course will primarily focus on the following topics:

  • Creating an easy salad dressing full of health benefits
  • Blending an herbal pesto with multiple herbs and nuts
  • Tapping into creativity to make a variety of sauces & dips 
This course provides the student with 2 hours of herbal instruction, “after-hours” instructor accessibility via email, & printed handouts
