A spray is an extra-convenient way to make essential oils part of your daily life. Essential oil sprays are easy to make for nearly every purpose. Spritz bed linens with a lavender spray for a peaceful night’s sleep, for example, or mix eucalyptus, peppermint, and lavender into a refreshing body spray to cool down during a hot summer afternoon. All it takes to make your own collection is distilled water, witch hazel, and essential oils of your choice, plus a handful of 2-4 oz. glass spray bottles.
There are many essential oil spray recipes available, but the basic concoction is as follows: Add about 25 drops of essential oil into a 2 oz glass spray bottle (plastic will work but could leach chemicals into your spray). Next, fill the bottle halfway with witch hazel. Fill the remainder of the bottle with distilled water. Label and enjoy! Essential Oil Sprays is a subcategory under the Essential Oils modality.
